Yeah it can mean inflammation in the bowel, but I have assumed the worse case.

Pepperpot - I saw that your colonoscopy went well, yay! I'm so glad. I hope this helps put your mind at ease and you can move forward.
Only a few days until its my turn. I'm hoping that everything turns out normal. Oddly enough I feel really good, really energetic as of late. My stools seem pretty normal (TMI - not having to wipe nearly as much), haven't seen mucus for a week. I'm really hopeful that's a good sign.
Now.......if I could only get this thing done with so I can move forward myself! lol.
I'll be thinking of you!! I felt like that too, really good lately. Make sure to tell us how it went. X
How did the colonoscopy go?? Find anything?
Solidsimpson -
Thanks so much for checking in I wrote up a post under the colonoscopy section so I copied and pasted it here...I really appreciate all of your help. You were right, everything turned out okay. I will say though, the prep wasn't too bad except the taste of the bipeglyte. I almost gagged every time I took a sip!!!
Everything was normal except they removed what they think was a polyp. They said it was small and they weren't even sure that's what it was so they're sending it to pathology. The surgeon said it was nothing to worry about and worse case scenario I just have to come back in 5 years for a follow-up colonoscopy. But he said I don't have to follow up with him, that I just follow up with my GP. So I take that as good news! They took some biopsies to check for bacteria...now will just need to wait for news from my GP. The surgeon told me pretty frankly that all was fine and I can move forward so I'm excited.....this has really felt like a long 6 months. Hard to say the level of relief I feel!!!
Great to hear!!
