Hi! I am new here I am 27 Female. I have had health anxiety my whole life. I do have a medical condition unrelated to what I am posting about. I had a test that showed blood in my urine and now I am worried. They didn't seem worried. Has this ever happened to anyone? I have had CT scans of my abdomen and ultrasounds of my kidneys and bladder in the past and it was normal. I am very worried! I assume the test was a dipstick test it was at the hospital.

Yes it is very common, I get blood in urine tests every time I have them.

My doctor said that some people just get it but it doesn't mean anything sinister and you have had all the scans etc

I had that recently as well. Doc said trace blood in urine is very common even in healthy samples.

I am led to believe that 1 in 4 persons get rid of dead blood cells through their urine. I have had this for 7 years now, one of those things.
