post nasal drip

hi Ive read a lot on here about post nasal drip I was wondering if someone would please enlighten me as ime not sure what it is. thanks

Post nasal drip is when... well... snot drips down the back of your throat from your nose/sinuses. It can make you cough and spit up mucus, make you feel stuffy, nasally and congested.

Typically an OTC allergy med or decongestant helps.

Thanks fishmanpa I only asked because my nose seems to run a lot of the time and ime forever getting the tissues out its not mucus or green or anything like that and doesn't run down the back of my throat its just clear stuff and then it goes for quite a while then comes back could it be an allergy but nothing has changed in my life nothing to bring an allergy on
