Book description:
In this book author describes a new original method on how to alleviate irritable bowel syndrome symptoms using contemplative practice called Mindfulness. With 20 years of experience suffering from this syndrome he describes his voyage from childhood to adulthood and how he coped with the condition. He describes in a very structural and systematic way how IBS symptoms appear in the body and all related suffering in the mind. As electrical engineer he uses a very objective approach to the subject explaining treatments and therapies he tried in his own search for cure. He emphasizes importance of healthy thinking in everyday life and proposes use of meditation as a tool for purifying the mind. He also describes physical senses and processing of pain in the body and mind by using practice called Mindfulness. He concludes the book by directing the reader how to use this practice in everyday life to alleviate pain and suffering caused by irritable bowel syndrome.
