    Worried About Breathing

I had bronchitis about a month ago and I was put on steroids and cough suppressants. For about 2 weeks I was fine and then all of a sudden I started feeling wheezy in my throat and tightness there as well. My primary doctor said that she doesn't know what is causing it and wants me to see my ENT specialist. I'm worried because she is requesting a larynx scope through my nose to see why I'm inflamed and it's really making me anxious. I feel like because she doesn't know what's wrong means that it's serious. I'm also scared that I won't be able to breathe at some point or swallow. I'm really scared.

Doesn't sound like much fun. Do you have any hypothesis yourself? Like if you smoke, it could be related to that, and I believe dairy products may play a role as well, for some people at least (haven't checked up properly on this last fact however). I understand you are anxious about the procedure, I would be too, but know what they're doing.
