LJ, whatever it is, you have a problem.

    And its not ALS.
Are you 100% certain it's not ALS. I just want to go to my CBT session on Friday positively

These threads are going in a very familiar path. It's probably best to not engage at this point as it's just feeding the beast... just my humble opinion and I'm out!

So you reckon that because your hands aren't precisely uniform with each other that this signals ALS?

Christ, I'll bet people with ALS wish that was what it actually did.

    Alright thanks guys.
It's just I've seen how I'll my grandad was with it and I was so close to him and it's almost scarred me. I miss him so much.

But sorry if I'm annoying you guys. Today it's just been on my mind and I have been terribly scared :(

    Sorry guys.

That's understandable, but how about doing your best to live your life to the fullest. Surely that's what your grandad would want, not to see you curled up in a ball trying desperately to diagnose yourself with this awful illness.

It's that yeah. And the muscle twitches and the tightness in throat mate. Are these not concerning? I feel fine physically and am still going to the gym every night.

If these "symptoms" were concerning, 99% of the population would think they had ALS.

ALS sufferers can't go to the gym every night, can't you rationalise that one out?

    Yeah mate I guess.

I'm going to try and stay positive until my CBT session.

I'm not sure seeing my GP at this point would help and would just keep things in my head.

Am I safe to leave it yeah.

And yeah true. My grandad was very positive and we could tell he was very ill as soon as he got the illness
