    Anyone Tried Virtual Reality?

I bought one of the VR headsets last week.

    It is AMAZING!!

Watched a film on it, and it was like I was actually at the cinema watching it!!

I think it has amazing potential, and could even be used as a therapeutic tool to relieve stress and anxiety.

I spent a good while sitting on a beach watching the waves roll in. Very relaxing!!

    SLA,
I haven't tried VR yet but I am intrigued by it
What equipment did you buy and need to use the VR kit?

If you have a Samsung phone you can get a piece of kit called a Gear VR.

It's £80, and your phone slides into the headset. You can then download and play games in full 3D and VR.

There are quite a few on the market these days for various phones.

If you have a chance to try it I highly recommend it. It's unlike anything else I have experienced.

that sounds cool, shame my phone is a Nexus 6

maybe i'll have to think of Samsung next time around but for now I'm going to see if I can hunt down a Nexus 6 solution. All articles so far have suggested the Nexus 6 doesn't fit into VR solutions, it seems to be because its a 6 inch screen, best I've found is 'Cardboard v2 models generally work but are a very tight fit' so i shall be hunting that down for now

My partner got a cheap one for his phone and it seemed pretty cool. I'm sure the proper one would be amazing.
