adding pics !!!!

Hiya there Nic hope your well, question mate, dont know how to add a pic to the post being trying to add one to Piglets birthday greeting, have no idea, help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not a wiz on the pc my daughter tried to cut and paste its not working!!!

Hi Sky

Nic only showed me yesterday how to do this, so i hope i have got it right.

1. Go to Google search engine, put HAPPY BIRTHDAY into the search engine, then click the images button.

2. Select which picture you would like then click on it. Once the page comes up click the FULL SIZE IMAGE to make the picture large.

3. Once you have the full size Image, RIGHT CLICK the picture and select PROPERTIES. In the grey Property Box there is a Address (URL) copy this address by highlighting with your mouse, right clicking Copy.

4. Go to the thread you want to put your picture on and insert what you would like to say, e.g. Happy Birthday...............".Once you have inserted your wording click with your mouse to where you would like to place the picture.

5. At the top of the post there are some little boxes, run your mouse across them till you find one that says INSERT IMAGE, click that box (a grey box will come up) Now PASTE (right click mouse)the URL that you copied earlier, press OK and now your picture shoud be added to your post.

Lorraine - did you find the icon to use to insert the picture.

You cannot do this from "Quick Reply" - only from "Post Reply"

Click on that web address you have just chose on your post the Happy Birthday picture.
then
1. then right click on the picture, grey box comes up, scroll down to "properties"
2. You will see a "URL address" copy this with your mouse.
3. Go back to the post you want to put the Picture on.
4. click into the post with your mouse.
5. at the top of the post box there are icons run your mouse across them one of them says "insert image" click that, i grey box will come up saying "explorer User Prompt"
6. Now paste in that box what you copied earlier URL Address from the birthday picture. then press "OK".

Is there a way to put pics from my pictures on here?

Yes there is Vernon. You have to upload them to a Photobucket / Imageshack type account (links below). You will then be given a URL for that image, and you can post the pics in the Forum in the normal way.
