I am just so so pleased that you've got some good news! I really am so happy for you! Hopefully, you can start relaxing now, and putting all this behind you. Please remember it for next time, though, how you were afraid that something was wrong and how your mind put you through absolute hell, but everything was ok in the end.

I've been doing better, but having a huge panic today thanks to FB posts. Ugh. So anxious again. So frustrated at myself!

Make your doctor write down the diagnosis, so you can reread it during attacks.
Write yourself a note, and chant it like a mantra, if need be.

"I have a benign, common condition called cervical ectropion.
    It causes irregular bleeding.
But this does not mean I have cancer.
I am HPV negative. it is not possible for me to have cervical cancer.
Cervical ectropion causes bleeding. it is benign and harmless.
I have been diagnosed with cervical ectropion, and that is the cause of my bleeding."

    Write it down. it helps.
    best wishes.

Hi I'm 60 but I know your panic, as I've had it for many years. One of the good things about having a D&C is that they can biopsy and test samples from the cervical canal at the same time. If they were all OK (and they were) then that should put your mind at rest Also the fact that all your scans are good too x

Awesome idea!! Thank you. Funny thing is, I'm not even spotting. I'm just in a panic and fearing the what ifs.

    You are right, I'm ok!!

Thank you. You are so right. Everything has been ok. I am ok, but just making myself believe it is rough.

This stupid burning/pinching feeling beside my bellybutton/maybe ovary area just won't let up. The irregular blessing has been ok, thankfully.

I just don't know what to make of this pain that keeps coming and going.

I am in a major panic tonight (well now wee hours of the morning). I had to come back and read this. All I can think is that I have cervical cancer or CIN that is being missed. I don't have any of the usual suspects as to why I would have an ectropion. Naturally my brain is saying it's because I have something sinister.
