How bad is the shaking, twitching, and shivering meant get?

On 20mg a day for anxiety. I'm at day 10 and I'm a complete mess. My muscles keep jolting all over and shivering. For the last few days the twitching has become more violent and it reminds me of seeing people with parkinsons disease. It gets very bad first thing in the morning and at night when I'm trying to sleep.

At what point is this not okay? I want to try and see it through, but I don't want to harm myself by taking these either.

It does.

Common: Uncontrollable shaking movements. Feeling shaky or chills.
Uncommon: Muscle twitching, involuntary movements.

I don't know where to draw the line though. How much shaking or jerking is too much?

I spent all of Christmas with my arms convulsing. I rang a non-emergency number and they told me to stop taking the fluoxetine.

I've just been to see a doctor right now and sat there with my arms jumping as if they had hiccups while he went through a book saying my side effects weren't listed. He gave me a week of diazepam.

Can I ask a question? Purely out of curiosity. Did you read the list of side effects before you started taking the tabs?

I'm on 20mg too but luckily never had any side effects.
