Thanks I was in Manchester at the time in a hostel and remember her death in a news bulletin I admit I shed a tear for her And on the ILR station which was Piccadilly Radio (excellent station they played a none stop ad free) tribute to her Yeah she had a illness to contend with but it took over her life sadly Thanks again Pip Cheers

Terry - With all this talk of Russia, The CIA, and spies I thought it rather ironic that Sir Roger passed on. Of all the Bonds he was my favorite.

Yeah, N. And didn't the actor who played the sheriff in one of the films also die recently?

I always preferred Sean Connery. But I thought Moore was great as The Saint and also in other films.

He beat cancer a few times. I don't think his family have said what type of cancer this was but it was a short illness. He got to a great age though!

Yes Terry...his name was Clifton James...I didn't hear about that. He died about a month ago. I thought he was very funny in Live and Let Die. He was 96. I'll take that.
