    Re: Gone but not forgotten!

Im still gutted about David Bowie, partly because he was in a renaissance regards his musical career and I've loved the majority of his output over the years.
I'm guessing that a partial reason 2016 has had so many celebrity departures is that the heroes of our childhood are that bit older year by year and maybe there are more celebrities these days ?

Anyway, we've lost some huge creatives this year

I saw Bowie years ago. It was outside and pouring rain. The second he came on the rain stopped and the skies opened up. It was weird. He was in a bright orange jump suit. Fabulous!

Another that passed was comedian Gary Shandling.

But Jerry Lewis is still going at 90.

Oh my goodness! Debbie Reynolds has just died too! Unreal!

I wonder if it was a suicide. Possibly by pills. Pure speculation though.

    Very sad.

Yeah Debbie Reynolds died of a stroke. I used to watch Singing in the Rain with my grandma all the time.

I also heard stroke. I wonder if strokes can be triggered by extreme emotional stress? I have no idea.

I absolutely think extreme grief and/or shock can cause a heart attack or stroke.
