    Re: RIP DMX

Drug addiction apparently. That sucks, I know he had a crack problem all his life.

I love his album "The Great Depression".

Very sad news about Prince Phillip. 99. What an age! Her only just missed his 100th year. RIP

Condolences to the Queen, their children & the rest of the Royal family. I hope media intrusion is kept to a minimum and respectful.

Thank you for your services to our nations over so many years.

I know we've all been expecting this news for ages but it was still a shock for me. He was of my dad's generation and a strong and resilient man. I hope he was shielded from all the recent Royal ructions..Maybe time for some reconciliation with Harry now? I hope so although the Sussex tribute was a bit terse.

I'd like to echo the sentiments regarding Phillip. He's all over the media which is only natural, but also ironic in that's just what he wouldn't have wanted. I agree Pulisa that if ever there was a time for burying hatchets, its now. Do it for their father and grandfather if nothing else.

Bury Prince Andrew. Great idea. 99 was long innings. He was blessed to make it that far. His sisters were Nazi party members. And that old **** was a racist. So forgive me if I couldn't give a damn about him. Good riddance.

My brother is Jamaican who got bullied by racists. Hate me, but I don't support a racist.

RIP Nikki Grahame who lost her lifelong battle with an eating disorder yesterday.

She went into a private clinic a few weeks ago as a last resort but the poor tortured lady was too ill by this stage obviously.

Such a terribly destructive illness which affects every aspect of your life with no respite.

No way. I didn't know this. I remember her in big brother too. I loved how crazy and wild she was. That's such a shame.

That's a shame. 38 is so young. RIP

There was a piece yesterday about how BMI is not fit for purpose with eating disorders (does it really take a review to tell them that when everyone who lifts weights or competes in many sports is classes at obese? ) and how the system has failed people in getting them to the correct specialist services.

I can't believe even now doctor's don't seem to get it. This should have changed years ago.

    Re: Gone but not forgotten!

I had bulimia. It started of as a way to be in control, and I learned about this from reading a true story novel about a teenage girl with an eating disorder. That's what got me trying it. I then developed anxiety over fat and I couldn't stop myself from forcibly vomiting after food. I read that book so many times and carried it everywhere because I related so much to the character in the novel. Had that disorder for 3 years before I learned to stop it.
