    You know you're getting old when you call '50' "so young" right? But I hear ya... so many of the artists I grew up with are passing and I'm not that much younger (or older) than them

    I bet sales of Foo Fighters' albums are increasing this week in the wake of Hawkins' death, even though they have never quite been my cup of tea.

    My brother is quite a big fan though.

    RIP June Brown aka Dot Cotton of EastEnders fame. She was 95 and had only left the soap a few years ago.

    Wasn't she the one who was a chain smoker (even though I normally avoid EE, Corrie, etc like the plague)?

    I've met her briefly. She was quite a character. I'm sure there will be an EE tribute special in due course.
