smear results due

[miss diagnosis]

I got a smear tests done 8 weeks ago and some swab tests at the same time. the swab tests were all clear and the doctor said everything looked fine but im too scared to ring up for the results of the smear.I mean the clinic would ahve rang me by now if anything was wrong wouldnt they???

Im sure if there was anything wrong you would have heard something within the 8 weeks.

Its like the old saying goes " No news is good news!"

HI, i know the rules here in UK are that the onus is on the patient to phone in for results. However, my understanding is that if there is an irregularity (which is rare anyway) the doctors will contact the patient for a follow up. Sounds as if it'll be good news so put yourself out of your misery and make that call - I'm sure it'll be fine.
