Cross tapering from lexapro to paxil

My question is can you still experience withdrawal symptoms when you are cross tapering from one drug to another?

I was just reduced from 20 to 10mg of Lexapro and added 10mg of paxil. I feel like I am having some withdrawal symptoms but thought that didn't happen when cross tapering.

Hi Michelle,

How are you getting on? I have been on and off anti-depressants, sorry I can't answer whether you should get withdrawal or side effects from the transition, except in my opinion it wouldn't surprise me!
