Ocular migraines in a regular basis

I have seen posts regarding these zig zags/visual disturbances but does anyone get them regularly, like every other day?

I think I had the first one in my 20's and now am 60 this year but in the last year I am getting them sometimes twice a day but not every day. Everytime I have looked for information (that's a real good way of saying "googled" ), they say that they are harmless which of course is excellent but omg there must be something not right to keep getting them so often

Nothing to do with anxiety but now is making me anxious.......like i need more to be scared about!

    Thanks x

I'm afraid I have no experience, maybe posting in a health thread might elicit more responses on here.

I get post Meningeal headaches which my Doctors disagree on which doesn't help with treating them. Sometimes these can be ocular/migraine'ish in symptom.

It could be your age. Mine increased after menopause. I get them in phases. Like frequently for a week then nothing for awhile. Winter seems to be the worst time for me. Also not drinking enough water makes them worse.

Thank you Mezzaninedoor and Phuzella for replying. I regularly have my eyes checked (usually every year) as my dad had glaucoma, I'm sure if there was anything wrong he would have noticed, I just get very scared sometimes. Must have had these ocular migraines thousands of times yet only got scared that once.........my anxiety levels are at an all time high at the moment!!
