    Re: "Chillow" Pillow

    Update ...

I have slept really well over the last few days. "Pillow flip" has been eliminated !

Although I was a bit hesitant about the price (I guess they are expensive for what they are) I'm glad I invested in one, especially with the temperatures on the rise at night.

You can't put a price on a good night's sleep .... talking of which ...

    Re: "Chillow" Pillow

I bought a chillow pillow after reading about them on here. One thing I noticed when I filled mine with water was that when I was following the instructions to get the air out quite a bit of water came out too

The first night I put the chillow pillow inside a pillowcase and although it was lovely and cool it seemed a bit hard, even on top of my regular pillow. Anyway as I also get hot feet at night I've started using it for my feet and it's really lovely.

My daughter in law liked it so much she bought one too. Unfortunately after only 2 days my son somehow managed to puncture it with a drill!!!!!! We are going to try and put some duct tape over the hole to see if that fixes it

Mine spilled quite a bit of water when I filled it and followed the instructions too. I think it must be quite normal, I guess you've got to get rid of the air, otherwise it would be like sleeping with you head on a water bed !

    Punctured it with a DRILL ?? I won't ask .....

Anyhow, glad you have found it helpful, I certainly have.

    Kind Regards

I wonder if you could get one of those waterbed repair kits and if that would work better than duct tape to fix the hole.

I have one & love it, great for migranes too. And FAB for hot summer nights - I put mine in the fridge for approx 1/2 hour in the summer & then put my head on it when I'm sunbathing in the garden, stops me overheating! Loved it so much I brought 2 more & sent them out to my folks in Cyprus. Best £25 I've spent.

My son was decorating the nursery and for some reason only known to him decided to put the drill down without looking where he was putting it and oops right through the chillow pillow it went
