Pimple on gum

Hi,I have had this strange pimple appear on my lower gum at the back where my wisdom tooth used to be, it appears, eventually pops,sometimes by me,disappears completely,then returns around a week later,totally painless,has anyone else had a similar thing?

I've never had that but could it possibly be an abscess?
