weird popping in throat when swallowing..

Hi everyone,

So my husband has been having this weird popping sensation on the right side, near centre, of the neck when he swallows. Also has a weird tingling sensation when talking/swallowing. Says it's kind of like a muscle spasm.

Has anyone had this kind of thing?

YES I have it right now in both ears! ENT thinks it is eustachian tube disorder but I know that is not it because I can (very gently, never force it) pop my ears quite easily. This all started because I had otitis externa in both ears and months of debridement and medications, I think in my case it's a healing process BUT THIS CAN REALLY FREAK YOU OUT!

I suggest your husband go to an ENT for examination of his ears, nose, throat, glands, etc. to see if there is an underlying infection of some kind. I am on another forum for ear, nose, throat issues and a lot of people have clicking and clunking when they swallow! :(
