Day 18 of cycle, two weeks before period is due I'm bleeding!

Very worried.

Have never had this before, I'm usually very regular.
Yesterday I went to the loo and wiped and there was a lot of red blood. Since then I've had bleeding on and off. Ranging from a pinkish to a light red to a dark red with a tiny clot mixed in.
I feel really weird too, like I'm in a dream and dizzy.
My breasts are hurting and I'm having pelvic and hip pain/weird uncomfortable sensations.

It's when I wipe but also going onto the pad too now.
I thought I was ovulating a few days ago as I had a lot of cervical mucous and felt like I was ovulating.

I also feel really hot now and again...like a hot flush. It can't be menopause starting as I'm only 27.

I've been under a lot of stress and anxiety lately, but that's nothing new for me. I've also recently started a women's multivitamin...this is so unusual for me and I don't like it thinking all sorts of bad things now.

Lots of small clots mixed in with red blood! What on earth is going on?

I also had this last month 13 days into my cycle I had discharge and blood and small clots too. It lasted for a day and I've had nothing since. I went to the doctors and she took a swob and turns out I had infections (nothing to do with the bleeding though) so yesterday I had a transvanginal scan to see if there was any reason for the bleed. I was absolutely petrified. The sonographer told me there and then that everything looked absolutely fine.
Just monitor it over the next couple of days and book to see a doctor for peace of mind. X

It's always hard to tell as what's normal for one woman isn't quite for another,
all the symptoms you're having is the average cycle for me so i can't really comment, that being said sometimes we just have early periods and stress can heavily contribute to it, if you're really concerned i'd advise going to the doctors as its the best way to get checked out and to be reassured but i don't think it's anything too bad x

It's almost turned into an early period, but I don't have the same cramping etc as normal and the blood is bright red!
Oh and my boobs are sore and having shooting pains in them.
I also have a headache, feel very tired and tearful. Plus dizzy. Oh it's just terrible being a female.

I had something strange happen to me last week. I was due for my period so when I started spotting I didn't give it a thought. Usually I spot for a day or two then I start bleeding heavier and my period really begins. Well I never got past the spotting stage. It would pick up for an hour or two but never as heavy as my usual period is. I did have some clots as well. It lasted on and off for about 6 days like my usual period is then went away. I have no idea if that was my actual monthly period or mid cycle bleeding because like you I had thought I just ovulated the week before. Had all the symptoms with discharge and all.
