Hey, I am new to this forum. I would love to make some friends who have similar illness's to me, and around the same ish age.
I have lost alot of friends over the years as I find it hard to socialise. I currently only have a couple of friends who don't understand my illness, but thats ok and why im looking for new people so i dont feel so isolated and crazy.
I would like to chat via email. I've recently been diagnosed with ocd which has been present most of my life and I didn't even know. Ocd has been portrayed so wrong in the media I didn't know my intrusive thoughts and struggling with 'magic' thoughts was ocd. It's all a bit new and upsetting to me but I'm in the middle of receiving cbt with and psychologist and have a recovery navigator/ on the mental health team . I've struggled with what I thought was just depression and anxiety, insomnia etc for the past 15 years ish.
My interests are: walking/camping, animals/vegan ism, reading and watching fantasy/horror/nature, art/crochet, some computer games, also going to try and study meditation/mindfullness/yoga ..more but I can't think right now.
