Yes, it is apparently a common symptom. Not one that I generally experience, but I've read that it is common.
Yah I had that feeling for a year and half until I finally stop thinking about it, it went away now I just don't feel like me -.-
Yes, those are common depersonalisation symptoms. I get these feelings of unreality where I don't feel real neither does anything else around me.
Do you have it 24/7?
Hey guys I already posted about this but. I got depersonalization or I don't even know if it is, I just don't feel like I'm me anymore and it's scares me because I know I'm still me :( it's been 2 1/2 years and my doctor said it's just a phase because I'm a teenager and a lot has changed with moving hockey and parents splitting up but it won't go away :(
Have you gotten any help for it? has your doctor referred you to anyone?
I know its a scary and a horrible feeling, I still have it sometimes x
All the best

Yeah she has ! But I think it stays around because I don't stop thinking about it, but thank you
It doesn't really have to do anything with thinking about it. The reason you have it could be either anxiety or trauma. It is common if you have high anxiety for prolonged periods of time, but if you've felt like that for so long, it is probably that you're not anxious and it has to do something with trauma or relationships. Do you remember how it started? Also how old are you?
If it was just panic attack, the feelings would have gone away by now, but it has something to do with repressed emotions most likely that your brain is trying to run away from by giving you these feelings of disociation.
