I see flashes out of the corner of my eye

I have a headache which is normal feeling. If I hold my eye right i see these flutters way to the back of my peripheral vision. Like it's way off to the side. It doesn't. Yet and I can see just fine but it's freaking me out! I just had an eye exam a few months ago. Anyone know what this is??

Anxiety can manifest itself in a variety of visual symptoms, including flashes, floaters, visual snow, blue field entoptic phenomena, etc.

I have very specific health anxiety related to a fear of retinal disease, so I deal with this stuff all of the time. I have this thing called a "2-hour rule," where if I notice a visual symptom I wait two hours to see if it is still bothering me. If it is, I give it another two hours. Repeat until it stops bothering me altogether.

No one symptom has gone on for more than a day or two. Best of luck
