Upcoming holiday!

Hi guys,

So I'm going to centre parcs on Monday until Friday, it'll take about an hour to get there. It's been planned for ages and I've felt fine about it but now it's getting closer I'm starting to get a bit worried (not helped by Pms this week and I'm due on on Monday!)
I'm hoping that once I get there I'll be so far out of my comfort zone that I'll be okay!

I have agoraphobia and social anxiety but I've been doing well recently and have been pushing my distance and have even managed to complete a walk during a panic attack the other night, I kept walking and the panic passed which was amazing as before I've always run home when the panic has hit.

I'm wondering if any fellow agoraphobics have managed to go on holiday and if you have any tips for me?

Hi Marie,
I wouldn't say I'm agoraphobic, but I do have social anxiety and get anxious going to new places, especially cities. Pms also makes my anxiety worse so I know how you feel. Before I go on holidays I become anxious about travelling there, such as my ongoing anxiety of needing the toilet on long journeys etc. Hope you feel better and my best advice would be just think of how relaxing and nice it will be when you get there!
