Would paxil help me

I was wondering if anyone could answer for me their experiences on meds.
I have chronic neck and shoulder tension and was going to ask my doctor for meds. I have tried the muscle relaxers and anti- inflamitories and nothing works.
If I took paxil or something else to take the edge off, maybe the tension may leave me. If the tension leaves in my back and chest then I would not always fear of having a heart attack.
Please share your thoughts or experiences with me,

Paxil is seroxat right? if it is i would not advise taking it unless you are 100% certain. some people have a hideous time with it. before taking any medication i would research it or at least have it perscribed by someone who you really would trust with your life.

i had a awful time with seroxat and in someways it caused more problems than it ever solved. i dont know if the situation has changed but when i was on it there was a courtcase in america and one starting in england against the company smith kline beecham. allegedly they knew of its hideous side effects and never released it to the public. some of the side effects allegedly caused suicidal tendencies in people.
