    MIrt as a sleep aid

I tried 15mgs of Miirt as a sleep aid after reading so many good reviews about it. I must be one of the unlucky ones as it did not help with my sleep at all. Hopefully others have more luck than me with it. Mybe it helped a bit with depression but I am taking 150mgs of Anafranil so who knows. The Doctor actually wanted me to increase the Mirt to 30 mgs in conjunction with the Anafranil. Not really seen that combination much.

I'm surprised you have insomnia as clomipramine is usually fairly sedating. It seems you may not respond to antihistamine mediated sedation which would also explain why 15mg mirtazapine also didn't do much. Increasing to 30mg may help, but if it doesn't then you're going to need a non antihistamine solution. The problem is tolerance tends to develop quickly for most of the alternatives.
