Left Breast Pain

So for a couple of weeks now I have noticed an intermittent stabbing/cramping pain in my left breast. It's definitely the breast and not the heart area, btw. Really strange because I've never had anything like this before. It comes out of nowhere and aches for a few minutes, maybe a couple of times a day and then goes away. It's in the same area, deep in the breast under the nipple, sort of. I have my annual with my obgyn in am month so I'll definitely mention it, but I'm curious if any of you ladies have experienced this before.

My left breast is killing me right now. It's horrible. It's been going on for over a week, and I found a firm lump in there, too. I have a mammogram and ultrasound on Thursday.

If you're still young enough for a period, breast pain is almost always related to hormones. I have to keep reminding myself of that, too.

I'm sure it's nothing serious. I was just curious what it could possibly be. i suppose i'll find out soon. Good luck with the mam.
