Salmonella

Omg I'm freaking out so much right now! I was eating chicken that I bought (already cooked), and I ate some of it with blood on it. I just happened to look down at the chicken because I got to the bone and there was blood. I'm pregnant and now I'm worried that it's going to kill me and the baby :(

Are you sure it was blood? I've seen that red in the cooked chicken too.. I'm pretty sure it's not from being raw.

It looked like blood and my husband said it did too. I think it wasn't cooked fully because it was rotisserie chicken. I'm just hoping that we all don't get sick and I'm going to freak out for the next few days now.

Ugh.. I know :-( I wish I could tell you positively it's wasn't. If it was though, not all chickens have salmonella. I believe you'll be ok.
