10 weeks on Sertraline 100Mg. Not sure if it is working properly

Hi - looking for some wisdom / reassurance..

I have been on this for 10 weeks, but I feel knackered and on edge in the mornings - I don't seem to come around properly until after lunch.

I've been off work for 10 weeks and I'm just ramping up but its hard work.

Is it normal that I feel like this after 10 weeks? I take my tablet in the morning - is this the best time? I feel like the tablets were working better last week so why am I feeling like this now?

Any support appreciated.

Hi Natalie,
I'm also on 100mg at the moment and I'm about week 13. I take my tablet in the morning and I'm at work as normal. For the last 3/4 weeks I was told to go to 100mg from 50mg. I find it slightly harder to physically get myself out of bed in the morning however once I'm out and moving about the tiredness goes for me. Occasionally I have tiredness suddenly come on around lunch time then it will suddenly go and I'm fine.
At the moment I'm rarely able to stay awake past 10pm. However I do feel tons better without the anxiety I had.

It see,s like it must be a slow burner. I'll just have to try and be patient with myself. Sometimes it build up and I have a cry and then it's relieved. Hopefully we will feel the full benefit soon.

I read quite a bit on here and most people seem to feel better after about 12 weeks. For me it was pretty much straight away. I would stick with it and hopefully you'll get there soon!

It has takene 13weeks to see some difference on 50 mg. Seems a long time . Think it depends on individual. I still feel up and down so hang in there! Although I'm still not sure if I need higher dose. If so it may mean more weeks of side effects.!!! Good luck
