    Thud in throat

Is it normal with palps and ectopics to experience a weird dropping sensation in the hollow of your throat? I'm freaking out a bit here as the sensation makes me feel awful even though I've had all the tests and told the ectopics are benign.

You have a pulse point there so if your heart makes the long dropped beat that people describe as a 'missed' beat as in ectopics, then that would produce the feeling you describe.

    ISB ☺

So is it "normal" as far as ectopics are concerned?

Sounds normal. Are you sure your having heart trouble. Remember there is alot of stuff going on in the upper abdominal heart area gas, stomach contractions, muscles etc. This can make you believe your having heart problems when in fact you are not. This will build up anxiety and stress which will make your heart beat faster or other things. Really think about it. Real hard to deal with I know.
