Persistent cough??

I've had this persistent cough for 2-3 weeks at first I thought it was a flu/common cold, but the cough isn't budging, the phlegm is green, I don't have a fever and appetite is fine, I believe my other family members have caught this aswell but I'm not sure if it's a chest infection, pneumonia or whatever my coughing fits are getting close to make me want to vomit when I cough a lot but I never do vomit

Any ideas?

It sounds like a viral cough - it's normal for the cough to last longer than the initial virus. If it's making you feel poorly then no harm
In getting checked out in case it is an infection but chances are it will run its course.
