Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS): Anyone tried it?

I've come across a member that has, lilharry, but she's not be around for quite a while now. She did raise a thread about hers, if it's any use?

The only person I can think of was looking into buying one I've seen (vibrastim, I think it was called) but I'm not sure if he went through with or not.

I can remember seeing people talking about using it on fibro forums so that might be worth a look.

It's a shame they are so expensive, it's not easy parting with cash with our disorders as it can be a hit or miss affair.

There are some supporting studies out there. The companies themselves have some posted but people like NIMH in the US have got studies of their own but the set up might be different?

In the UK, it is licenced but not for this (migraine, I think) but it's available in more specialist settings or the private sector. This is for the professional treatments. If it's these you mean, I'm not sure of anyone who has had that.
