    Small steps

    I feel as if i've been suffering from symptoms of agoraphobia. I've been struggling with getting in a car or just leaving the house. Lately I've made small steps and have managed to get in the car for short journeys. It helps when the sun is out, though. Does anyone else feel like this?

    Hi, I've just joined this forum..
    I definitely agree with the sun being good for progress. I'm doing the graded exposure thing at the moment, and always find it much more challenging on a grey day.
    Go out on a whim rather than planning it, it's much easier, and reward yourself each time you challenge it. Believe me the rewards are there, and once you see the results the enthusiasm will build and drive you further.
