Having a hard time getting waiting to see the doctor

So I have been having gastric problems with bloody stools and thin and loose stools. I went and saw the doctor and he is testing me for h oylori among other stuff. I have been having a lot of bloating and intermittent pain in my gallbladder area.

I hadd theee blood tests last Thursday and they haven't called me and I'm concerned because I see him on Friday and am scared.

I am starting to freak out even though I haven't seen any blood for a long time.

Any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated.

My Dr's office generally only calls about bloodwork if it is off so no news is probably good news

I saw my blood results, and they look normal except I have a slightly high monocyte level 0.9.

Also my kidney function has gone down to 73, but I have gained a bunch of weight so I am thinking this may be the culprit because I have gone from 94 to 73 in a year and a half, but I have also gained about 30lbs since then.

I guess I feel a little better because if cancer was the problem then my bloods would be indicative of that right?

Anyone have any experience with reduced kidney function? I am 42 by the way.

Ask doc to explain them tomorrow

So the doctor explained that he wasn't worried about my dropping gfr. He said it could be higher tomorrow, and that many things affect it.

He also wasn't concerned about my Monocytes either. He has been a doctor for 30 years so i am going to listen to him and his expertise.

He did do a rectal exam and didn't feel any tumors so he is going to send me to get a colonoscopy, I assume to appease me.

Basically he thinks my gastro problems are gerd because my liver and my kidneys were fine.

I feel better now, but I have to get on some meds again because I have found that I cannot live like this. I am also going to go to a counselor.

This is stupid of me to keep going round in a circle like I have.
