Hi everyone, I'm newish here but I have been suffering with with extreme anxiety and panic attacks for 4 months. I've only been on Lexapro for a week (5mg) and Xanax for panics for 2 weeks. I thought I had a brain tumor or MS for months until my MRI came back normal. Now I feel like I'm having heart problems. I've had EKGs, blood work, a chest x-ray, and have seen multiple drs. No one has detected anything wrong. I'm here with my most bothersome symptom.
Around once a day on average it feels like my heart skips a beat or stops for a moment. I know this is "normal" but I also get light headed at the same moment. Of course afterwards I'm freaked out and I typically go into a panic attack within a couple of hours. This can happen to me when I'm at rest. I sometimes also get short of breath and tingling in my fingers.
I understand I need to let the Lexapro kick in and I understand I may have to increase to 10mg, I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same thing.
