Bited incorrectly (?

So, tonight when I had dinner I was eating a piece of bread and when I bited it my right jaw made a strange noise (close to my ear) and now it hurts when I bite food. Do you guys have any idea how is this event called in medicine or what did cause it? Is it something serious? Thanks!

I took an Ibuprofen but the pain isn't dissapearing, how is it possible? Did I break my jaw while eating? It has no sense :(

I'm sorry but "did I break my jaw?" You may have just tweaked 1 of the many little muscles in the jaw by eating something chewy causing the jaw to slide about personally I think you need to really get some support for your anxiety before it really starts to trouble you.
