I have been having flash backs for 6 years just been told i should go for post traumatic stress counciling
think it depends what the flash backs are related to and if they were good or bad
hope you can get some help as they are not nice I know

Have you tried Hypnotherapy? i had flashbacks too after been victim to a armed robbery and Hypnotherapy did help.

flashbacks, where do you start. Flshbacks are usually caused by PTSD, which is caused through something terrible happening to you.

have you got reason for it, I guess you have when you said you have had counsilling. Do you mind me asking who said drug therapy will help and what kind of drugs are they suggesting?

I have to have CBT wwhich has been going on for a while and could take up too 2/3 years.

I hope you can find some answers, I dont know if Ive heped or not but perhaps a second opinion might help, your entitled.
