Amatriptilin (?)

Been taking this for a week now along with Cipromil.
I am walking around like a zombie with the feeling of impending doom.
The feeling is like someone squeezing my head, no pain, just pressure.

I take the Ama'n at night and the Cipromil in the morning. Went to the doc today (I'll have my own chair soon) and he has taken me off of the Amatriptilin. Problem being my depression is definitely secondary to the increase in anxiety.
I am worried after reading the "possible side effects" of the Cipromil..

It could take several weeks for you to settle in with the meds I am afraid.

Some people take them and are ok and some are worse for a few weeks.

You have to decide whether to stick with it or not.

Not good..

I did not sleep at all last night. I was so anxious it was terrible.
I can remember last time that the sleepless nights and how much harder it was without sleep.

I am completely lost with what to do.

I have the kids today as my wife will be working.
This is not good as I have allready had to exit the room quickly because I am so upset and can't bear to let a 3 & 6 year old see me in this state.

I took amatriptilin for a while a few years ago and it had a very similar affect on me - and i think assisted, if not caused with my anxiety and panic attacks!! and when it didnt do that - I was a complete numb zombie!

My advice - if it makes you feel like that, stop taking it!
