    Palpitations for days, faint feeling

I have been having bouts of palpitations for about 5 days now, they come and go but each event lasts about 2o mins with missed beats every 5 beats or so. I think anxiety has kicked in and I could feel the flutters even when shopping today. I had something similar 2 years ago and ended up in A&E, they did and ECG and blood tests but found nothing out of the ordinary and sent me home.
This time though I had a fleeting faint feeling while sat at my desk at work, my eyes seem to mist over and I felt myself fading but it only lasted seconds and this has really freaked me out. I have an appt with my GP thursday morning but am finding it difficult to hold it together and try and ignore the palps until then. Has anyone else had this faint feeling?

Feeling faint is pretty common with anxiety. Seeing as your tests came up clear last time it's probably nothing to worry about.

I would use mantra's until your GP appointment.

    'I know I'm fine'

    'My heart has been tested'

    'Palpitations are harmless'

    etc etc
