Come off propanel

Ive been on propanel for years. Ive got a chronic headache condition and my specialist told me to stop propanel and start on a drug called veramapl. Since stopping it a week ago feel awful my heart rate is racing and I'm getting palpertations . Has anyone else had this effect coming of it. My dr wants me to stay on verapamil and I cant take both medcines

Hi anx mum, Sounds like you are having discontinuation syndrome by coming off the Propanalol quickly. It's common to feel like that when you do this.
The Veramapil should be slowing your heartbeat as it does basically the same thing but in a different way. I'd make an appointment to see the Dr if it is worrying you tho..

don't think they should of stopped it just like that been feeling awful. been told that verapamil is suppose to lower bp which it's done also heart rate but it's still high which is worrying me
