Does Tramadol relieve anxiety?

A buddy gave me a box of Tramadol. I havent taken any because I dont think it safe.

Does anyone have anyexperience of this drug? Would it be ok just taken occasionally

Tramadol is a very strong painkiller. Nothing to do with anxiety or depression ,

Tramadol is a pretty potent SNRI so, yeah, it will work, but there are addiction issues with it so this is one rabbit hole you don't want to dive into. Possession without a prescription is illegal in many countries!

Also, there is a risk of severe serotonin syndrome when taking it with SSRIs, some SNRIs and TCAs, and MAOI class antidepressants.
