    Lingering Cough

I have had a mild, lingering cough for about 8 weeks now. I went to the doctor and they assumed it was from post nasal drip, so I took zyrtec but it has been about 12 days and I do not feel a difference. My cough is mucus-y and primarily in the morning, though I will cough once or twice throughout the day. It mostly feels like I always need to clear my throat. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm starting to worry it is something extreme like lung cancer since the zyrtec did not work. Any advice or replies would be appreciated

    Re: Lingering Cough

I know I've suggested this on other threads so I'll suggest it on here too:

Have you tried a sinus rinse bottle or neti pot? It could really help. Just don't use straight tap water.
