So I have this reddish brown spot on my scalp and I believe I first noticed it about a year ago. It is flat and when I look at it closely it looks like some discoloration and not dark enough or defined enough to be a mole. I'm just really worried and google hasn't helped. I have been a long time lurker and first time poster and I've always been freaked out about moles recently.

As far as that pic?... No one here is a doctor and cannot advise in that capacity. That being said, it looks like any normal mole I've ever seen

Agreed, looks like a normal mole.

I agree, looks pretty normal. I have a similar one under my hair above my ear. If you are worried, have a derm take a look.
