I was only taking sertraline for 3 days, first day 50mg, 2nd and 3rd day 25mg.
I knew there would be side effects and I really wanted to tough it out but last night the migraine,babbled speech,vision blurring and intrusive thoughts were really bad so I called 111 which is the out of hours doctor service here in the uk and was told to stop it.
I intend to return to my gp on Monday and explore alternatives but one thing really worries me.
I am scared I will get withdrawal symptoms, my last dose was yesterday morning, today I feel my usual anxiety and still a few side effects from the sertraline which will still be in my system but as it drops am I going to have withdrawal symptoms?
The doctor that told me to stop said it wasn't possible but I have read it is, as I say I only took it for 3 days but I'm really panicking about this which of course is not great when you are already a panicky person.
