    Exclamation Appetite

I have lost my appetite. Even when I look at food it makes me feel sick. I have to force myself to eat.

    Re: Appetite

I had this with anxiety last year and lost about a stone in a few weeks (which made me worry more!). I'm normally a foodie, so this had me in a tailspin. I couldn't even think of food without getting nauseous. I had to force myself to eat even a little bit. Even the act of swallowing felt like a huge effort and difficult. Once the anxiety was under control, my appetite came back gradually came back - but took a while.

    Re: Appetite

This happened to me as well. It's a totally normal anxiety symptom. I had a period where I got sick from not eating. Try to have bland snacks like crackers or bananas on hand that you can eat every few hours. And make sure to keep up your water intake. Going without food will only make your anxiety worse (at least it did for me).
