Beta blockers ?

Hi,

I have anxiety and obsessive type problems and have been taking sertraline.

Although this has helped, I still feel that the anxiety could be better - a few years ago when I was quite stressed at work my doctor gave me beta blockers which really helped and took the edge off.

I was considering perhaps talking to the doctor about going back on beta blockers for a short while to help calm me down a bit.

Does anyone know if you can take these with the anti-d's and would it be wise ?

I don't like taking medication but feel that maybe a couple of months or so on the beta blockers might be all I need just to settle it.
