i just had to share this with you all. Its so touching!

My daughter went to presentation day yesterday, where she met Richard McCann. For those of you who havent heard of Richard MCcann his mother was the first victim of the Yorkshire Ripper. Richard as just brought a best selling book out called "Just a Boy" which tells the true story of his stolen childhood, which is heart rendering to read, but changed his life around by helping others.

Richard is now doing presentaions at schools and conferences to help people live there dreams, and trying to get over to them no matter what obsticles are in your way you can still live your dreams.

He showed the following video to my daughter, its so touching, its about a young disabled boy that did live his dreams by winning a race with the help of his father.

yep when I think of all the crap ive had in my life and compare it to others who have had a terrible life, it makes me think if they can get on with life then so can I .

That reminds me of the determination and fortitude of my dear cousin who, until his death a few years ago, suffered from cerebral palsey but lived a full and rewarding life thanks to the love and committment of his dear father.

That touched my very soul.......thank you.
