Black stool.

Hi I have health anxiety a lot and my doctors know about it, lastnight I drank quite a lot of cider (strongbow dark fruits) it's a dark colour and I didn't really eat. I had a bowel movement and my stool was was a really dark black. Obviously it shocked me and I looked online about stool changes and bleeding etc.. but I'm just wondering if anyone knows it it could just be from the alcohol? It'd really put my mind at rest, thanks

Yes it could be. If the next few are the same then consult a doctor but I think you have already put two and two together on this one.

Yes they can See how the next couple go and if it happens any more then speak with your GP.

I had Cranberry sauce in my poop once and had a huge panic attack.
