Talking Think i have beaten it!

Hi not sure how many people will remember me as I haven't been on here for a while but I wanted to come & share my success story to show how anxiety can be beaten.
For 2 years I was on a downward spiral with anxiety, panic attacks & depression & rarely left the house. September 2006 was when things began to turn around, i got an appointment with a counsellor after waiting a year and began having cognitive behavioural therapy which helped me a lot, although i didn't realise how much progress i was making at the time I can see how far I have come. The CBT wasn't quite enough for me so after a lot of thought i started on a Cipralex in january. Its not always been easy & at times i have wanted to give up but now I am leading a completely anxiety free 'normal' life. I can do so much that I wouldnt have dreamed possible less than a year ago & i actually enjoy doing new things now as I know I can.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to pm me. Thanks for reading
    Love & hugs
    Suzy xx

    Hi Suzy,

It is always nice to hear of someone who has beaten this thing called anxiety and depression and comes out on the other side. It gives so much hope to others.
